婦疑飲涼茶後亡 死因庭跟進

【本報訊】44歲女病人疑飲涼茶後因肝衰竭前日在瑪麗醫院不治,死者曾在4月至5月於葵涌同壽堂涼茶舖購買廿四味及感冒茶服用,病人親友懷疑飲涼茶出事。 衞生防護中心指,知悉主診醫生已將個案交死因裁判官跟進。涉事店舖負責人弟弟葉先生大呼冤枉,指無證據證明涼茶導致女病人死亡,而警方、食環署和衞生署亦 無要求他協助調查。

同壽堂稱繼續營業證清白

葉先生指近日生意慘淡,不想關門惹街坊疑慮,堅持繼續營業以證清白。他指店舖開業多年一直無問題,自己亦有飲用店舖涼茶,要求當局查明真相。現時同壽堂繼 續售賣涼茶,食環署無回應如何確保沒有其他不適個案,僅稱該處無證售賣涼茶,已向有關負責人提出檢控。根據紀錄,涉事店舖去年12月中向署方申請涼茶許可 證。
葉先生反駁指店舖申請了半年許可證,但署方遲遲不處理,又指署方原本處理申請的職員轉跟進其他個案,店舖申請則無人跟進。衞生防護中心指,個案交死因裁判官跟進,但仍未釐清病人服用涼茶是否導致女病人肝衰竭死亡的原因。
女死者今年4月至5月曾到同壽堂飲用廿四味與感冒茶後不適,其後被診斷為肝衰竭,急需換肝。死者親友將聲稱是購自同壽堂的感冒茶交政府化驗所化驗,發現含有西藥撲熱息痛及氯苯那敏成份。但衞生署與食環署再到店舖抽樣化驗就未驗出含有西藥。

ultrafast rendezvous to ISS
