 衞生防護中心今晚公布，本港有3宗初步確診個案，其中兩宗與證染Omicron的44歲國泰空少（#12611）有關，他於12月27日曾到又一城食肆「望月樓」與親友食飯，同枱的一名76歲男性家人、及一名同場的34歲男食客亦初步確診，分別都帶來N501Y及T478K變異病毒株。 76歲男病人(#12637)是空少（#12611）的非同住家人，居於石硤尾澤安邨榮澤樓，在竹篙灣檢疫中心檢疫期間抽查樣本呈陽性，Ct值大於30，沒有病徵。另一名是34歲男食客(#12654)，居於屯門藍地屯子圍的村屋，12月29日出現咳嗽病徵，他在地盤工作，當日仍有上班，今日乘搭輕鐵到屯門醫院急症室求診，抽取的樣本檢測結果呈初步陽性，Ct值約30。他們相隔10米。 衛生防護中心懷疑望月樓內有超級傳播，有200人與患者同時段用膳，全須檢疫，但暫只追蹤到80人，承認其餘120人較難找尋。第三宗初步確診個案是一名47歲機組人員，為早前證染Omicron空少（12610）的同班回港航機同事，一同經航班CX843於12月25日抵港，抵港時在機場抽取樣本呈陰性獲豁免檢疫，可回家接受醫學監察和定期強制檢測。個案12610確診後，他於12月28日被送往竹篙灣檢疫中心檢疫，於12月29日的檢測結果呈初步陽性，Ct值約25，沒有病徵，帶有N501Y變異病毒株。 一名曾於上月27日約中午12時至下午2時於望月樓用膳的50歲家庭主婦，昨日對新冠病毒檢測呈陽性，並帶有N501Y及T478K變異病毒株。 至於圍封東涌映灣園映濤軒，及北角南天大廈的行動，則涉及一宗初步確診的輸入個案。28歲女患者為本地機組人員，居於南天大廈。 已在港接種兩劑復必泰疫苗的女患者，上月22日在港受檢的結果呈陰性，兩日後前往美國，其後從當地乘搭CX885航班於上月27日抵港，在機場受檢的結果也為陰性。 患者其後根據相關豁免人士規定接受醫學監察和定期強制檢測。上月29日於社區檢測中心接受採樣的結果呈陰性，但同日晚上出現病徵，翌日向私家醫生求診。其檢測結果昨日呈初步陽性，並確認帶有N501Y及T478K變異病毒株。根據患者提供的資料，她自上月29日起到友人位於映濤軒第6座的居所暫住。 個案12609、12611、12637和12654的病毒基因排序相同，換言之，居於屯門的國泰空少與居於石塘咀的國泰空少於上月25日密會時，互相感染Omicron病毒，再由前

   本港第一宗Omicron輸入個案為一名36歲男子(12388)，居於青衣藍澄灣5座，他10月23日離開香港前往南非。他乘搭航班QR818於11月11日返抵香港，抵港時於香港國際機場臨時樣本採集中心抽取樣本進行的檢測結果呈陰性。他於指定檢疫酒店進行檢疫期間的樣本結果呈陽性，之後入住赤鱲角富豪機場酒店檢疫。 第二宗涉及62歲男子(編號12404)，11月10日由加拿大抵港，入住赤鱲角富豪機場酒店，在同月20日確診。他在4月及5月分別在港接種兩劑復必泰疫苗。 兩人均入住該酒店同層 ，同樣感染N501Y變種病毒。 本港第3宗Omicron輸入個案為一名37歲男子(12432)，沒有病徵，11月24日由尼日利亞經埃塞俄比亞和泰國抵港，是於北角華美達盛景酒店檢疫期間確診，驗出帶N501Y變異病毒株，經基因排序顯示屬Omicron，他分別於9月和10月，在尼日利亞完成接種兩劑莫德納疫苗。 個案12433的調查進展，該名38歲男病人於十一月二十四日從卡塔爾經航班QR818抵港等候轉機。他因簽證相關問題於機場限制區逗留，並於十一月二十七日於香港國際機場禁區內進行離境前檢測，結果呈陽性。 病人並未接種2019冠狀病毒病疫苗，他沒有病徵，入院後於十一月二十七日進行的檢測對抗體呈陽性反應，入院後進行的三次檢測Ct值為30-36。 根據衞生署公共衞生化驗服務處進行的全基因組測序分析結果，確認個案帶有值得關切的變異病毒株Omicron。 進一步流行病學調查顯示，病人於十一月十五日從巴布亞新幾內亞前往尼日利亞，其後從卡塔爾到港。他在香港國際機場逗留期間曾到訪的地方已於十一月二十九日納入強制檢測公告。 任何於指定期間曾身處相關指明地方內的人士，須在十二月一日或之前接受強制檢測。暫時未有錄得相關確診個案。香港至今共錄得四宗涉及Omicron的個案，兩宗與南非相關，另外兩宗與尼日利亞相關。 9 Jan 2022 Studies showed that the Omicron strains have evolved into 3 lineages, namely BA.1, BA.2 and BA.3.
