the adjustment thread pitch is 1mm. There are 12 markings in one rotation, so 1 marking is equivalent to 83.3 microns. bear in mind that the adjustment is step-less. So the markings are just for reference.
the burrs are 38mm
the fine grounds is not good enough for espresso. still need some further skills, eg WDT etc to make it work.
There are two bearings on the axle, 25 mm apart from end to end. The bearing is from Japanese NMB L-1680 ( 8 x 16 x 4 mm) , manufactured in Thailand
when tightly locked by the thumbscrew, the burrs are not touching, there is still a uneven gap of ~0.1mm
there is designed that the axis is 0.7 mm higher than the burr!!! so you cannot do any zero-alignment(不能歸零)!!!
plus the the outer burrs and axle( thus the inner burr) not perfectly aligned, there is possible a distribution of 0.1mm (+/- 0.50microns) of grinds, no matter what you grind setting is.
a quick fix:
by adding ~ 0.3mm thickness of tape, now the burrs can make "zero alignment"
The proper way is to add a spacer of min 0.5mm between the top bearing
and the aluminum sleeve . This pushes the inner burr more towards the outer
burr.
the compression spring is 15mm x 8mm ( inner dia)
