IMX290 vs IMX462 new planetary CCD

 

IMX462 has lower readout noise, and very high QE in near Infrared spectrum. by using 850nm filter, this CCD can be used as NIR only camera.



monochrome ( ASI290MM)is better than color version(ASI178MC, ASI294MC), for solar astrophotography:
