郭明錤認為，預期 2024 年款 iPad Pro 的 Face ID 會優先採用超透鏡技術，主要是超透鏡 MetaLens 相較於塑膠鏡頭更具備成低本和高度低兩大優勢，能夠在短期內取代 Face ID Rx 或 ToF Tx/Rx 塑膠鏡頭應用。

對於 iPhone 鏡頭何時也會搭載超透鏡，海通國際科技研究中心 Jeff Pu 在最新分析報告指出，預期蘋果會先在 iPhone 16 採用新的「超透鏡」技術，會is大幅縮小蘋果 iPhone Face ID 傳感器尺寸。

郭明錤也表示若 iPhone 相機鏡頭要採用超透鏡 MetaLens ，不管在算法和製程進展，要將 MetaLens 取代 iPhone 鏡頭內低階塑膠鏡片，最快也要等到 2028年至2030年才可能出現。mrmad
