Aqara Hub setup on Android

model name: ZHWG11LM ( appearance same as Hub M1S HM1S-G01 or ZHWG15LM, but they are different)

Plug in to power supply

White light will turn on itself for ~ 15 sec(booting...), and light will turn itself off 

Install the app on your mobile

Use aqara app!!

Despite what manual of aqara says!! This device is not compatible with Mi App!!

First and most important:

Choose china mainland region, otherwise cannot discover the device

Press button until yellow blinking (Can be a few sec to like 30 sec.)

Yellow blinking means factory rest mode, ready for setup

You will hear "等待連接中，請打開App"

Now the device is ready, and you can now proceed the real stuff

Start the aqara app, press "+" icon top right 

Add accessory > gateway >Hub

Click "yellow light blinking", next step

....

 

 

2) connect the device to your WiFi network

 

 

3) bind the device to your WiFi

4) completing the network setup

wait a few seconds more... ( the device is connecting to Aqara's cloud via your WiFi...)

NB:

the world is advancing so quickly, i think not too many people can accept such clumsy non intuitive steps of setting it up. What you see on your mobile screen does not always match to what the setting up steps are doing.
