理大便攜式新冠病毒檢測儀

 


理工大學研發出第三代便攜式新冠病毒檢測儀，可於實驗室外採集樣本即時檢測，40分鐘有結果。


理工大學用一年半時間研發這部便攜式檢測儀器，可用於實驗室以外的地方，同時檢測最多四個人體或環境樣本，儀器利用「恆溫環狀擴增法」RT-LAMP 及「金納米粒子」 gold nanoparticles，透過光學反應進行病毒測試，過程約40分鐘，如果樣本對病毒呈陽性，金納米粒子會沉澱，憑肉眼已可辨別。

團隊目前測試三百多個已抽取出核酸的臨床樣本，靈敏度達百分百，病毒量低亦能成功檢測。

成本是新技術的主要優勢，這部新開發的手提儀器製作成本只是幾千元左右，每一次檢測時所需的消耗品成本大概十至二十元左右，有別一般化驗室需要特定溫度處理及螢光劑當中的儀器及時間成本。
