The new product uses Sony’s proprietary “STARVIS™ 2” technology, which delivers high sensitivity and high dynamic range (HDR) using back-illuminated pixel technology specially designed for security cameras, resulting in an 88 dB dynamic range, approximately 8 times that of conventional 1/1.2-type 4K-resolution image sensor*1 in a single exposure. It also increases the sensitivity in the near infrared range by approximately 1.7 times compared to conventional model IMX485

2.9 um pixel pitch:
IMX662(2.9um, 2.4MP), IMX664(2.9um, 4.16MP), IMX585(2.9um, 8.41MP)

thoughts:
What if binning by 2, ie 5.9 um pixel size, and increase pixel count to 7712 x 4360 = 33.6 Megapixels?
Dynamic range will be 32 times conventional , 25.68 mm diagonal size, sample price ~180 USD
even if the pixel count is increased 1.5x by width and height ( 18.6 Megapixels), it will still be very attractive
note:
SNR1s:
A smaller value indicates better picture quality at low illumination.
SNR1s [lx] is an acronym consisting of "SNR" (Signal-to-Noise Ratio), "1" (represents that the signal level when noise = 1 is 1), and "s" (for Security).
