1)  install java re 1.6 ( tested on java 1.8 v131, and working fine) take note of the installed pathname of java.exe 2) download from the binary package from Jan Kotek pixy2.zip. not from github ( the important pixy2.jar file is missing in github) ( instead of directly from yoshida) http://www.kotek.net/blog/pixy2_updated     3) setup  start the software by clicking the pixy2.exe file   when started, click the middle icon "Setup"         setup pathname for java.exe and pixy2.jar as it is on your computer         use > 200MB of memory, eg 400MB.
